You can use Jobtoolz in many different ways in combination with your own site. This article provides a handy overview of all the possibilities.
1) Using the job site via Jobtoolz
By using this option, your own careers site will be replaced. On your own website, you can link to the Jobtoolz site behind a button like "Jobs" or "Vacancies." Of course, you can also design your Jobtoolz site in your own corporate style. More information on that can be found in these help articles.
Redirecting from your own site to the Jobtoolz site takes about 5 minutes. You can also set up a customized URL for your job site simultaneously. All necessary information for your internal IT or website manager can be found in this help article.
An example of this option is Cardohotels. Clicking on "Careers" at the bottom of the page takes you to the corresponding Jobtoolz site.
2) Maintain the existing careers page and only refer to the jobs on the Jobtoolz site.
This way, you keep a part of your own current careers page but link the job openings to us. Instead of listing the vacancies, you place a large button saying 'view all vacancies', which links to the Jobtoolz job site where you only post the vacancies.
A good example of this is Mister Spaghetti. On their own site, after clicking the 'Jobs' button, there is another button to view all vacancies. This then takes you to the Jobtoolz site with the job overview.
3) Maintain the existing website, and manually link each job opening to the Jobtoolz application form.
With this option, you also keep your own current careers page, only the application process will be slightly different.
For your job openings, you place a 'apply' button in each case, linking it to the URL of the Jobtoolz application form.
Keep in mind that in addition to adding the job opening in Jobtoolz, you also need to add it to your own site. After adding it to your own site, you can then place the Jobtoolz application form behind the 'apply' button. The advantage here is that you can create a custom application form for each job within Jobtoolz.
As an example, you can look at the Standaard Boekhandel site. When you click on a job opening on their own site and then click 'Apply', you are redirected to a Jobtoolz form."
4) Link your existing careers page to Jobtoolz via API
In this case, your existing careers page will look exactly the same, and the application process for candidates will remain unchanged. With an API, you will connect your own website to Jobtoolz. Thanks to the integration between the two systems, you will be able to create, fill out, and publish a job vacancy in Jobtoolz, which will then be automatically published on your own careers page. When candidates apply there, they will be redirected to Jobtoolz.
To set up an API integration, you will need the assistance of your IT team or website developer. They can build the integration based on our API documentation. Using this documentation, they can estimate the necessary time and costs. On average, this takes a few days of work.
An example of a Jobtoolz user implementing our API is Voka. On their job page, you can find all the vacancies that were first created and published in Jobtoolz. The application form is also within Voka’s own site. Completed applications are then routed to Jobtoolz for further management within our ATS.
In addition to a full API integration, you can also choose to link, for example, the job vacancies and/or application forms directly to Jobtoolz. This process will also be automated but can save some work hours for your website developer. Examples of this approach are Callens and Anima."
